Do you have a great idea for a dramatic short scene? Have you always wanted to know what it's like to be a director? Can't you wait to finally be on stage (again)?
Well, in this project, you can have all of that! Every participant will write their own scene (optionally, you can choose an exisitng one) and then get to stage and direct it, while also acting in the scenes that others have written. In the end, we will perform all scenes together as a collage on stage!
The writing sessions and rehearsals will always be Wednesday evening somewhere on the TUM campus in the city, plus some potential additional dates in the last 2-3 weeks before performances.

Depending on the number of sign ups, we may have to hold a casting on the 11th of March.

Rough Schedule
- The kick-off/ casting will be held on 11th of March
- The writing process will take place until the end of the lecture-free period (12th of April)
- Then the scenes will be rehearsed (starting from 13th of April)
- A directing workshop is planned for the weekend of the 18th of April
- A rehearsal weekend is planned in May
- The performances are planned to be done on the weekend of the 6th of June

Do the scenes we write have to be connected to each other or belong to a certain genre?
No, write whatever you want! We would love to have a mix of funny, dramatic, artistic or serious scenes!
Do I have to write my own scene?
No, but we would prefer self-written scenes.
Is there a limit which scenes I can choose, if I don't write my own?
Yes, you can only choose scenes which are in the public domain.
Can I join with no prior experience in writing, directing and/or acting?
Yes! This project also exists to give you the chance to try out these things!
Can I participate if I cannot join on the 11th of March for the casting?
Potentially yes, please still sign up.
Can I participate if I am away until the start of lectures?
Yes. You then could either choose an existing scene or write your scene on your own.
On which stage will we perform, and is the performance date finalized?
We are still in the process of booking a stage, therefore the date is also not completely finalized, but very likely. We plan to finish the booking until the kick-off/ casting.
Can I join if I am not a TUM-student?
Yes.
